Teaching
With 15 years teaching experience, I am passionate about helping students of all ages discover the joy of music. I teach drums, piano, guitar and bass, with a focus on fostering creativity, confidence, and personal growth. My teaching style is student-centered and focuses on making learning fun and accessible. I incorporate games, apps and tools like Freedrum Studio and self made play along videos and other content on my website to create an engaging experience in lessons and at home. I have a curriculum and a generalized lesson plan but I customize all lessons for each student based on their unique pace, goals and interests. My primary aim is to help them develop more than just musical talent but also character skills such as persistence, resilience, empathy, creativity and self-expression.
Performance
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of performing with a wide range of artists and bands, including Faultline, Thinking Hearts Feeling Minds, Hello Stranger, All Access and many more. My musical journey has taken me through various genres, including Rock, Alternative, Pop, Funk and Country. I have played in many classic venues in Southern California. I continue to stay active as a performer, which allows me to bring real-world experience and practical insights to my students.
Performance is where it all started for me, so I offer my students multiple performance opportunities a year, including playing with my band, Faultline, in real venues with professional musicians.

Lessons that are canceled within 72 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time that aren’t rescheduled are still charged for the lesson.
Students are allowed to cancel up to 1 lesson per month without incurring additional charges. If more than 1 lesson is canceled in a month, payment for the additional missed lessons will still be required.
