Teaching
Sloane has been teaching voice, vocal performance, and presentation skills since 2000. Her approach to teaching starts with an Initial Diagnostic Evaluation where she’s able to show new clients everything they already have in place with their voice as a foundation to begin from. This session includes teaching the 6 Point Vocal WAV Method (a spin off of the legendary Seth Riggs “Speech Level Singing” Technique - Prince, Michael Jackson, Olivia Newton John, Bette Midler, Barbra Streisand.) New clients literally walk away from the session with a custom vocal workout for their voice that shows them their vocal range, how to navigate their vocal break, increased confidence and so much more.
Performance
In addition to teaching, Sloane has performed for corporate events, festivals and years of her own private and public events with her band Sloane and the SmoothTones frequently giving her clients an opportunity to make an appearance when they reach a certain level of confidence and professionalism.
Studio
Lesson Offerings
Sloane specializes in beginning and intermediate singers covering everything from improvisation, vocal performance, stage presence, ear training, correct breathing and grounding techniques to hobbyists and emerging artists. In addition, she’s able to support her clients’ needs and interests in most genres/styles from blues and jazz to pop, rock, country, musical theater and everything in between. Lesson materials can vary, and are customized for each client based on their goals and specific projects.

Policies
- Lesson cancellations (“early cancels”) are made at least 48 hours in advance. Exemptions to this rule include cases of emergency only.
- Every effort will be made to schedule make-up lessons for early cancels, but they are provided as a courtesy and are at the discretion of the instructor according to schedule availability.
- “No shows” or lessons not canceled in advance: no make-up lessons will be scheduled and the instructor reserves the right to charge for the missed lesson at the full rate.
